Rory McIlroy tees it up with The Trump

As El Presidente golfs for third weekend in a row

There's no stopping the Trumper when it comes to hitting the links, and getting high quality golf partners. So who has he been teeing up with now? Well, it's Rory McIlroy.

We were thinking of running a book on who would be the next golfer to tee it up with Trumper, and we had Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson leading the field. So we were more than a little suprised when Rory piped them to the post.

Rory is currently out of action, as he recovers from a stress fracture to his ribs. He plans to return to action next month at the WGC-Mexico Championship.

McIlroy played with The Trump, as El Presidente took to the golf course for the third weekend in a row of his presidency.

Speaking to No Laying Up, McIlroy admitted he only got asked to play with Mr. Trump hours before the teed off. Rory added that Trump "probably shot around 80. He’s a decent player for a guy in his 70’s!"

McIlroy played in a four–ball with Trump, Kildare-born Nick Mullen (an agent with ISM), and Trump's friend Rich Levine.

So who is next to tie up with Trump, now that he has partnered Woods, Els and McIlroy? Surely it has to Dustin or Jordan.
