Rickie Fowler's what's in the bag

For his Hero Challenge victory

It was a week of “firsts” for Rickie Fowler at the 2017 Hero World Challenge. For the first time in his career he shot a 28 on the front nine. Rickie also put his new KING F8+ driver, 3 wood and 5 wood in play for the first time this past week, while debuting his new PUMA Golf P Snapback Cap. Of course, most significantly, Rickie used his new gear to win the Hero World Challenge for the first time in his career.

After starting the day seven shots back, Fowler, a COBRA PUMA GOLF athlete, quickly made up for it with eight birdies on the front nine, and an additional three on the back for a course and career-record breaking 61 to capture his fifth career victory at the Hero World Challenge in Albany in The Bahamas.

“Incredible, record-breaking win for Rickie today,” said Bob Philion, President of PUMA North America and COBRA PUMA GOLF. “His performance was the perfect way to bring momentum early on in his 2018 season. All of us at COBRA PUMA GOLF are so proud to congratulate him on this impressive win.”

Fowler complemented his stellar play, fueled by his COBRA Golf equipment including new F8 Driver with the brands first CNC Precision Milled forged driver face, by bringing color and signature style to the course in apparel and footwear from PUMA Golf’s Spring Summer ‘18 collection, including a debut of his new go-to cap for the upcoming season, the PUMA P Snapback Cap. The P? It can stand for PUMA. But it can stand for much more: Power, Passion, Practice or Perseverance.

Rickie’s KING F8+ Driver features the brand’s first ever Precision Milled Forged face, utilising a unique multi-directional CNC milling pattern that delivers the highest level of precision for superior performance.  Compared to traditional hand polished drivers, CNC precision milling allowed COBRA engineers to achieve precise face thickness and tighter tolerances resulting in improved bulge-and-roll curvatures with a face that is thinner and lighter for maximum ball speed across the face with distance and accuracy. The groundbreaking, fully CNC machined driver face paired with revolutionary 360o Aero TechnologyTM and equipped with COBRA CONNECT™ Powered by Arccos, delivers COBRA’s fastest, most precise and smartest drivers to date.
