Puma launch new Spring Summer collection

Lightest and most innovative to date

PUMA Golf has launched its new Spring Summer ’17 Collection showcasing the brand’s lightest, most cutting-edge offerings to date. The line features re-imagined essentials, next-gen materials, sophisticated, yet fun detailing and an evolved colour palate.

PUMA Golf’s Spring Summer ‘17 Collection is grounded in an innovative material story called Ultralite, which is up to 30% lighter than prior generations, and ensures a new level of comfort.  The fabric used is extremely breathable, offers excellent moisture management and is minimally constructed for a cleaner look.

“Athleisure continues to be pervasive across both fashion and performance brands, but with PUMA’s SportLifestyle heritage, it is truly authentic to our DNA. Thus, we are uniquely positioned to deliver on-trend, high performing, stylish clothing to the golf world,” said Kristin Hinze, Head of Apparel at PUMA Golf.

“Our Spring Summer 17 collection takes the best of what is happening in fashion and streetwear and fuses it with technical elements that enhance on-course performance, ensuring a look that works from the first tee to the office and everywhere in between.”

In Spring Summer ‘17, PUMA Golf is introducing a completely revamped men’s bottoms collection.  PUMA Golf set out to make golf pants that didn’t exactly look like golf pants, rejecting the typical shiny fabric and drapey fit that is commonly associated with the garment.  PUMA Golf’s new pants offer excellent moisture management, new, improved fit, a rebalanced pattern, curved waistband for comfort and mechanical stretch for maximum range of motion, available in both a tailored and performance fit.

This collection also signifies a maturation of the PUMA GOLF brand in terms of style and colour palette.  While the brand continues to be first-and-foremost about game enjoyment and making golf fun, the graphics and colour offerings are evolving to be more inclusive of a wider array of golf style preferences

“As Rickie’s and Lexi’s careers evolve and with the addition of Bryson DeChambeau as one of our key style icons going forward, we have achieved much more of balance in our colour and designs than what has previously been our hallmark bright and bold looks,” said Hinze.  “It is our goal to provide both our professional athletes and our everyday athletes with the finest performance available in designs that are true to their own personal style.”

A key component in 2017 is new layering and stormwear pieces that are ultralight and breathable while still protecting from the toughest conditions. The new Storm Jacket Pro utilises 20,000mm waterproof fabric and is fully seam sealed, while the pants include the same technical fabrications along with a fully adjustable elastic waistband and adjustable length.

Complementing PUMA Golf’s innovative and stylish apparel collection is the brand’s deepest assortment of performance and fashion accessories ever. From a new take on Rickie’s Fowler’s trademark flat brim in the #GOTIME Cap to Bryson DeChambeau’s distinctive Tour Driver Cap, along with a new Tech Lite Cap for women.

The Collection will be available from Feb 1st 2017.
