Justin Rose regains World No 1 with victory at Turkish Open

And here's what was in his winning bag

Justin Rose has successfully defended a title for the first time in his career by winning the Turkish Airlines Open in a dramatic playoff with Haotong Li, after both finished on 17 under par. This was Rose's  19th career win as he returned to the top of the rankings.

Rose first went to No1 in September, holding the position for a week before American Brooks Koepka replaced him.

And what a way to regain top spot, defending a tour title for the first time in his career, after winning in Belek in 2017.

Former US Open winner Rose posted a final round of 68, three under par, to finish tied with China's Li on the Regnum Caya course, before the 23-year-old bogeyed the extra hole in the play-off. Li had led by three shots heading into the last day.

It's Rose's 1st European Tour win of the season, his 11th European Tour career win and 20th for TaylorMade's M3 & M4 Drivers in 2018.

It was a 1-2 finish for TaylorMade's Twist Face Technology, with runner-up and fellow TaylorMade Staff player Haotong Li using an M4 driver, whilst Justin Rose paled his M3 driver.
