John Daly leads at Insperity Invitational

Looking for first victory in 13 years!

John Daly holds a one–stroke lead over Kenny Perry after shooting a seven–under 65 at The Woodlands Country Club in Texas on Saturday, which matched his lowest ever PGA Tour Champions score. It looks like Big John has still got it!

It’s been 12 long years since Daly last lead a tournament. That was at the 2005 WGC–American Express Championship at Harding Park, where he lost to Tiger Woods in a play off.

Daly’s last actual victory was 13 years ago at the PGA Tour’s Buick Invitational in 2004

“It’s not a familiar place I’m in,” Daly said. “It’s going to be great.”

We would love to see JD back in the winner's enclosure, so here's hoping!
