Golf Memorabilia

What's just been sold

Here are some interesting pieces of golf memorabilia that have been sold at auction recently.

For £5,900 you could have bought Dr. Alister MacKenzie’s (the architect of Augusta National Golf Club), personal South Africa campaign, Boer War, Queen’s Service medal. I've got one myself.

£26,000 would have secured you an important run of Golf/Golf Illustrated magazine volumes from 1890 to 1914. You'll not find much has changed since then.

Or finally, for £565 an Open Golf Championship competitor badge from 1978. But I certainly don't have one of these.
