Anyone for Pooh Sticks?

For when your golf course is flooded!

A golf club in Cornwall managed to see the brighter side this morning after one of its fairways was turned into a “water course”.

A massive deluge turned the first fairway of the cliff-top course at Portwrinkle, on the South East Cornwall coast, into a river.

But staff at Whitsand Bay Golf Club saw the lighter side – offering golfers a game of Pooh sticks instead.

They said on Facebook: “Unfortunately there will be no golf played at The Bay today, but entries for knock-out Pooh sticks will open at 10am...”

We’re in.
