Albatross Golf Resort

Latest signing for the European Tour Properties network

Albatross Golf Resort, which hosted the D+D REAL Czech Masters, has been announced as the 19th member of the exclusive European Tour Properties network, becoming an official European Tour Destination.

The resort is just a 20-minute drive from the Czech capital, Prague, and opened in September 2009.

It hosted a Ladies European Tour event in 2011 and 2012, and then became the home of the D+D REAL Czech Masters on the European Tour International Schedule, which was won by Jamie Donaldson in 2014 and Thomas Pieters in 2015. The event will return there again this year in August.

Thomas Pieter's maiden European Tour Victory at the D+D Real Czech Masters in 2015.

The resort joins the 18 existing members in the portfolio, which include PGA Catalunya Resort in Spain, London Golf Club in England and Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort on the French Riviera, so it will keeping some good company.

Designed by Keith Preston, the 7,358-yard championship course is a stern test for golfers of all levels and finishes with a tricky par four featuring water on both sides of the fairway.

If you are heading to Prague this year, we would suggest this is the place to play. It also has a great restaurant, and a very natty new clubhouse.
