Adare Manor to become most expensive course in Ireland

Start saving your pennies now

The new Adare Manor golf course in Limerick will open in March 2018, and will become the most expensive course in the whole of Ireland.

Golfers will have to pay €340 a round during the peak summer season. Add €60 for cart hire or €55 for a caddie, and you’re looking at a sizeable investment to play a single round. If you really wanted to knock yourself out, you could always get a caddie and give him his own cart as well!

If you want to slot in a quick nine holes, then you’ll need to fork out a mere €150.

A spokesperson for Adare Manor told the Limerick Leader: “The world renowned golf designer Tom Fazio has led our team with the redesign of the property’s highly anticipated golf course which we will open in March 2018. When complete the course will take its place among the finest golf courses in the world.”

The course is going to be bidding for the 2026 Ryder Cup, but if you want to get to play it before then, you’d better start saving your pennies now.
