17th hole at Sawgrass battered by Hurricane Irma

Now literally an island green!

Here’s more fallout from Hurricane Irma, which has battered Florida. It’s the famous 17th at Sawgrass, but not as you know it.

This picture was posted on Reddit, and shows just how bad the heavy rainfall has been.

The 17th is now literally an island green, as the walkway is now completely submerged, and the green itself is also partially submerged.

With Florida getting such a pasting from Hurricane Irma, the whole golf industry is going to take time to recover.
