Miss Wisconsin contestants to play golf

And it's all for charity

We love this innovative idea from the good people of Wisconsin. Miss Wisconsin contestants will play golf for scholarships at a tournament on Friday.

"Swinging for Scholarships" will take place at Utica Golf Club, in Oshkosh, according to a release from the organization. The 18-hole event will feature a shotgun start and scramble format.

Miss Wisconsin 2015 Rosalie Smith and the 25 contestants for this year's title will all take part.

The tournament will raise funds to benefit education scholarships contestants can win.

Participants can golf as an individual for $50 or as a group of four for $185.

This will probably be the biggest gathering of Swingin’ Sirens for many a long year.
