Anthony Kim during the second round at Black Diamond Ranch
Former LIV Golf wild card Anthony Kim kept his season alive Friday at LIV Golf Promotions, draining an 8-foot birdie on the final hole to shoot 1-under 69 and make the cut on the number at Black Diamond Ranch.
Kim was one of seven players to advance on the cut line and the only American remaining among the 22 players who moved on to compete for three wild card spots for the 2026 LIV Golf League season. Scores reset for the final 36 holes.
South Korea’s Jeunghun Wang led the field with a 5-under 65, continuing his strong showing after being exempt from the opening round. Canadian Richard T. Lee followed closely after a 66, highlighted by two eagles.
Former LIV players Matt Jones and Kieran Vincent also advanced with rounds of 69, while Thailand’s Sadom Kaewkanjana and Sweden’s Bjorn Hellgren were among those who shot 66.
Despite calling his performance average, Kim welcomed the pressure moment and remains optimistic heading into the weekend.
