Luxury golfing in New Zealand

Cape Kidnappers

Legendary hedge fund manager and multi-billionaire Julian Roberston has put together one of the most luxurious golfing vacations ever in his native New Zealand — but it will cost you a bob or two.

Robertson’s ‘Tiger Tour’ enables golfers to play on both New Zealand’s North and South Islands over the course of nine nights, whilst staying at his three properties – The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers, and Matakauri Lodge.

Kauri Lodge

Now 85, Robertson was a pioneer of the modern hedge fund industry, and founded the investment firm Tiger Management Corp, one of the earliest funds, in 1980. Forbes estimate his net worth at $4.1 billion

The tour is limited to four couples at $28,500 per person, but you’ll still have to get your own airfare. We’re going to have to give this one a pass at the moment, but Cape Kidnappers is certainly on the list.
