Gareth Bale building his own golf course

You would if you had his money

What does Gareth Bale do when he's not growing his hair, wearing Alice bands, playing indifferently at Real Madrid, and waiting on that call from Manchester United? Well he's playing golf. And now he's building his own three hole course.

The three hole track will include three holes based on the most famous par three's in golf, the postage stamp at Royal Troon, the 11th at Augusta, and the island green 17th at Sawgrass. He's even looking to hire a full time green keeper to look after the course at his home in Wales.

The Welshman is a true golf addict and plays whenever he can.

“I try to play as much golf as possible, in fact, I’m obsessed with it. I’ve not really thought about what I’ll be doing in 20 years when I’m retired from football, but, hopefully, I will be playing golf.”

And he's pretty nifty with a wedge if this video is anything to go by.
