Which Scotty Is Rory Putting With?

And who is his new putting coach?

Rory McIlroy was spotted using a new Titleist Scotty Cameron putter earlier this week in practice, now we know exactly what it is. And finally we have confirmation of his new putting coach after being spotted in public with Phil Kenyon.

First up the putter. A Titleist Scotty Cameron Select Newport M1 Concept. Now that's a mouthful. Similar to the Select M1 you can purchase, the putter is according to Titleist  a "rounded, flowing mid-mallet with 6061 aircraft aluminum wrap-around face-sole technology, sweeping single-bend shaft, and pop-through flange alignment system."

His putter looks to differ from the retail model by having  simple line alignment aid, rather than the crosshair. One of the main features is the wraparound insert, so putts hit low on the face are still struck by the insert and not the gap between the putter face and insert.

But changing a putter can only help so much. Rory has enlisted putting expert Phil Kenyon to help him sort his stroke. Kenyon was Harold Swash's protégé, and now runs the Harold Swash putting Schools. He's worked with a who's who of European Tour players, including Henrik Stenson, Danny Willett, Lee Westwood Louis Oosthuizen and Martin Kaymer.

Rather than us tell you about what Phil believes in, here's a great putting tip of his to give you a taster of how he coaches, and what he will do to improve Rory's putting stroke.
