TEAM USA RYDER CUP WHAT'S IN THE BAG

If Europe are concentrating on getting the ball in the hole with their equipment changes, Team USA are focusing on getting the ball off the tee.

Brooks Koepka is a Nike staff player who has been caught up in them leaving the hardware business. While an old Scotty Cameron putter has gone back in the bag in recent weeks, he's been testing a TaylorMade M2 at the Ryder Cup. "I guess our mentality right now is just hit it as far as you can off that tee." Well he obviously feels he can hit this further than his Nike.

Phil Mickelson has been using a 8.5 Great Big Bertha set up with two weights, and a longer Project X HZRDUS T1100 Shaft. 1.5 Inches longer, something he says is helping him drive the ball "18-20 yards further". The Project X shaft is a limited edition tour only model that is difficult to make, and their are currently no plans to launch at retail. 

Zach Johnson has been struggling of the tee this season since switching to a PXG driver. So he has gone back to what he nows, putting in his old Titleist 913 driver. Two generations old now, will it return some magic off the tee?
