PING GLIDE WEDGES

Walking around this year's PGA Merchandise Show, a lot of the apparel companies were very proud of their hydrophobic (or water repellent) finishes. Which makes sense for golf clothing, but Ping are the only manufacturer talking about hydrophobic clubs. A smooth chrome plating repels water, giving the wedges 30% more spin in wet conditions. Made out of 431 steel, these are so soft. Loft-optimized grooves produce more spin for full shots in the lower lofted wedges, and for partial swings in the higher lofts.
