Brooke Henderson recently collected her gold plated Ping putter for her win last year at the Cambia Portland Classic. It's a massive thing for a pro, however she is now waiting for the solid gold putter she won for her recent major win at the KPMG Womens PGA Championship.

We were lucky enough to visit the Ping Putter vault. It's the home to the closest thing golf has to Willy Wonka's golden tickets. In what has become a modern golfing legend, every tournament winner on the major tours around the world who wins using a Ping Putter gets two gold plated putters made in their honour. One goes to the player, one stays in the vault. If they manage to win a major, they become two 24ct solid gold putters. Pricey. This small gesture has turned into a big deal over the years, so we went into the vault to find out more about this Ping tradition.
