Bettinardi Golf masters another tour win

Premium putter brand enjoying a stellar season with eight Tour wins

Bettinardi Golf, the specialist milled putter manufacturer based in Chicago, has enjoyed its best ever season with standout victories on both the PGA and European Tours.

Victory with the brand’s Studio Stock #8 blade putter at the British Masters at Walton Heath, is the eighth on Tour this season, plus a number of top-10 finishes with over $6 million won by players using a Bettinardi putter.

The stellar season has included the brand’s third Major Championship victory, with Francesco Molinari’s win at The Open at Carnoustie in July. The Italian has enjoyed his best season on Tour after switching to his custom DASS BBZero model in May. He then won the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth shortly after and claimed his first PGA Tour victory at the Quicken Loans National in June.

“This season has been truly remarkable and one that will continue to expand the brand’s global reputation,” said CEO and founder, Robert Bettinardi.

“We’re proud to have brand ambassadors around the world represent us in the professional manner they have over the years. We share their passion for golf and it’s great to see them in play in front of millions of fans around the world,” he added.

China’s newest golfing superstar Haotong Li was first on the 2018 winner’s podium using his custom Studio Stock 3 Tour Edition putter to win the Omega Dubai Desert Classic in January. The European Tour labelled Li’s performance in the final round as ‘putting perfection’, after he holed 14 out of 14 putts inside 10 foot and ranked 1st in both putts per GIR (1.49) and putts per round (23.8).

Another title followed in February at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, with the same player and putter proving to be a winning combination as they were in Surrey this past weekend. Two victories have also come on the Mackenzie Tour (PGA Canadian Tour).

Since the brand was established in 1998, Bettinardi putters have more than 70 victories around the world across all professional Tours.

Other brand ambassadors include some of the biggest names in golf with Matt Kuchar (Kuchar Model 1 ArmLock) and Fred Couples (FCB – Fred Couples Blade) alongside the new global stars of Francesco and Haotong.

Bettinardi Golf is one of the fastest-growing equipment brands in golf.  It has become famous for its hand-crafted putters made in the USA from a single piece of high-quality steel using hi-tech CNC milling technology.
