Zepp training app has new functionality

Now Apple watch compatible

Zepp, the multi-sport training platform that captures real-time, actionable data to track and analyze your golf swing can now work with your Apple watch – if you’ve got one that is.

Apple watch wearers can now receive streamlined access to swing metrics and the ability to change clubs directly on the Apple Watch. This new feature frees up hands to focus on what’s important, improving on the range.

This is probably the best reason we have seen so far to actually buy an Apple watch. None of us in GolfPunk Towers have yet been tempted, but may be this will push one of us over the edge. At £260 the Apple watch is not a giveaway, but the sports tracking side of things could really work.

The  Zepp unit retails for a much more modest £100, and you don't need a watch to use it as you can also link it into your phone or tablet.
