LIV Golf returns to Adelaide after a wildly successful debut in South Australia last year that saw the tournament named World’s Best Golf Event in 2023 by the World Golf Awards.

Last year’s official attendance total of 77,076 at The Grange Golf Club was the highest attended event of the 2023 LIV Golf League season. Early indicators show an approximate 50% uplift in ticket sales as the league nears the halfway point in the 2024 season.

The Watering Hole, the 165yd par-3 12th, will once again be a hot-spot for LIV fans with its stadium-like party atmosphere. Capacity has been expanded to 5,000 (up from 4,000) last year. Expect the beers to fly, Australia likes to party! An additional viewing platform has been installed, one of 10 new ones around the course to enhance fan engagement. Last year saw Pat Perez unleash his wild-man mane after draining a 39 foot putt. The biggest blast was Chase Koepka's ace on the final day, with the fans unleashing a raucous celebration. He has since been relegated, but the memory lives on!

Cameron Smith, winner of the 2022 Open Championship, and his all Australian Ripper GC team enter as the hometown favourites. The Rippers will look to improve on their eighth-place finish last year and currently rank eighth in the season-long team standings.

Jon Rahm and his expansion Legion XIII come off their second team win of the season at LIV Golf Miami.

Dean Burmester of the all-South African Stinger GC team comes off his first LIV Golf individual victory in Miami, having defeated Fireballs GC captain Sergio Garcia on the second playoff hole. Garcia has been involved in three of LIV Golf’s nine individual playoffs; could Adelaide see him get it done?

Torque GC Captain Joaquin Niemann leads the season-long Individual Championship race, while Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC team leads the Team Standings.

Defending LIV Golf Adelaide champion Talor Gooch shot consecutive 10-under 62s in the first two rounds last season en route to his first individual title, while 4Aces GC took the team trophy. Gooch’s win in Adelaide was the first of his three LIV Golf wins en route to winning the 2023 Individual Championship.
