Spring golf comes early in Alaska

They’re already teeing it up

According to the Alaska Dispatch News, one of our favourite reads, they are teeing it up early in Anchorage.

Palmer Golf Course has already opened seven holes, which is way earlier than its last record opening of March 21st. Normally golf doesn’t get started until the middle of April, so this is proper early doors.

You will still need to dress up warm though. Temperatures only get to freezing by noon, and it’s downhill from there.
