Justin Rose plays FootGolf

We’e not sure exactly how we feel about FootGolf here at GP Towers. On one side, it means golf clubs are being used when they otherwise might not. More money comes into the game, which can only be a good thing. On the other we’re not sure it bears any relation to the game we all love, nor that it will lead to the foot golfers taking up golf. Which in our mind is surely the main point of the game?

As someone quite rightly pointed out to us though, every person who goes into a pro shop to play FootGolf, it’s a chance for that pro to get them back to play golf the next time they come to the course. Many of these would have never visited a golf course otherwise, so it's an opportunity for the pro's. 

We can get behind Justin Rose playing FootGolf for a good cause though. Helping the under privileged kids of Orlando and getting them onto the golf course can only be a good thing. It’s just a shame he supports Chelsea...
