Denmark’s Emily Kristine Pedersen closed with a sensational eagle at the 54th hole to post a bogey-free four-under round of 68 to leapfrog Spain’s Nuria Iturrioz and assume a one-shot lead atop the Andalucía Costa Del Sol Open De Espana leaderboard.
Robert Streb struggled on day three of the RSM Classic but still walked off the final green with a three shot lead over the field. Streb had another bogey-free round but this time had to grind out the pars on the front nine before finding three birdies in his final eleven holes. Emiliano Grillo shot a 65 and is four shots behind, while Kevin Kisner (66) and Kyle Stanley (68) sit five back.
Camilo Villegas carried his excellent form into Friday at the RSM Classic. The 38-year-old from Colombia shot a six-under 66 to add to his opening 64 but it was Robert Streb who grabbed a two-stroke lead after a nine-under 63. “I don’t want to be the one that breaks it,” Streb said. “There’s still a lot of golf left, and we’ll see what happens.”
Birthday girl, Ally McDonald grabbed her first LPGA Tour victory at the LPGA Drive On Championship at Reynolds Lake Oconee. The 28-year-old shot a final round three-under 69 to finish on sixteen-under-par and win by a single shot from world number five Danielle Kang. Mina Harigae of America and Spain's Carlota Ciganda shared the fourth spot after rounds of 67 and 69 respectively.
Patrick Cantlay of America snatched a one shot victory at the Zozo Championship with final round seven-under 65 which included nine birdies. Jon Rahm of Spain and overnight leader Justin Thomas finished tied in second on twenty-two under par.
Matt Wallace carded a brilliant bogey free round of 66 to open up a three shot lead heading into the final round of the Scottish Championship presented by AXA. Porteous also signed for a round of 66 at Fairmont St Andrews as he sets his sight on a first European Tour title, after earning his card for the 2020 season at Qualifying School.
Adrian Otaegui and Matt Wallace share the lead going into the weekend at the Scottish Championship presented by AXA, with Aaron Rai just one shot back as he aims for more success in Scotland. Harrington is at nine-under-par alongside English pair Paul Waring and Garrick Porteous, with Scot Marc Warren, American Sean Crocker and Northern Ireland’s Jonathan Caldwell on eight under par.
Spain’s Adrian Otaegui takes a three shot lead into the second round of the inaugural Scottish Championship presented by AXA after an impressive bogey-free opening round of 62. The venue is hosting a European Tour event for the first time, but Easton, in particular, is feeling positive vibes, having spent his wedding night at the resort overlooking the famous town of St Andrews.
Bryson DeChambeau is a man in form and his confidence is at an all-time high. The nine-under-par opening round in Las Vegas is the lowest opening round of DeChambeau's PGA Tour career and he leads by one at TPC Summerlin. It was a battle of the big hitters as DeChambeau was partnered with Cameron Champ and Matthew Wolff who he saw off in the final round of the U.S. Open.
Slovenia’s Pip Babnik produced a scintillating course-record round of 63 (-9) to take a commanding five-shot lead at the Lavaux Ladies Open from France’s Agathe Sauzon at 12-under-par.
Sweden’s Julia Engstrom had a day to remember at the 2020 Lacoste Ladies Open De France, carding a hole-in-one en route to a second round 64 (-7) to top the leaderboard heading into tomorrow’s final round.
