A rainy Sunday in southeast Texas caused the first weather-induced Monday finish in the U.S. Women’s Open since 2011. The organisers had moved up the tee times due to the forecast but shortly after the final round commenced the players were called in.
For the first time in U.S. Women’s Open history, the championship will be played on two courses. To account for reduced daylight given the move to December, the Jackrabbit Course at Champions Golf Club will be used in conjunction with the Cypress Creek Course.
Christiaan Bezuidenhout cruised to victory at the South African Open to complete a double having won last week at the Alfred Dunhill Championship. The South African closed with a three-under-par for an eighteen under total and a five-shot victory from Jamie Donaldson of Wales. "It's a South African golfer's dream to win a national tournament. It's unreal," said Bezuidenhout.
Charley Hull leads the Volunteers of America Classic at Old American Golf Club by one shot after and opening three-under-par 68. Thailand's Pornanong Phatlum and Americans Jessica Korda and Jennifer Kupcho are in a share of second place.

Finland’s Sanna Nuutinen continued to show why she is one of the best players still in search of her maiden LET title, firing an opening five-under-par round of 67 to lead by one shot from Scotland’s Kelsey Macdonald at the rain-affected Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open De Espana.
There may be 18 Spanish stars in the field this week for the LET’s season finale at the Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open De Espana but homegrown talent Azahara Munoz is among the pre-tournament favourites as play gets underway from November 26-29.
Robert Streb almost holed his second shot at the second playoff hole at The RSM Classic. The birdie was enough to win at Georgia's Sea Island Golf Club for a second time edging out Kevin Kisner. Streb, 33, won the event back in 2014 when he came from behind to prevail in a playoff this time he did it from the front.
England's Matt Wallace carded eight birdies in a six-under-par 64 to grab a share of the lead at The RSM Classic alongside Colombian Camilo Villegas. The pair are a shot clear of a whole gaggle on five-under which includes major champion Keegan Bradley and the now Slovakian Rory Sabbatini. On arriving at the course on Thursday morning, Villegas saw a rainbow over the course which inspired him.
Spain’s Luna Sobron Galmes made a sensational move to the top of the individual standings at the Saudi Ladies Team International, firing a course-record equalling seven-under-par 65 to take a one-shot lead from Denmark’s Emily Kristine Pedersen at ten-under-par. Heading the individual standings with one round to go is Luna Sobron Galmes.
The stage is set for a Sunday showdown at the inaugural Aramco Saudi Ladies International Presented by PIF, with Welsh star Lydia Hall and Denmark’s Emily Kristine Pedersen locked together at ten-under-par after rounds of 69 (-3) and 71 (-1) respectively. I’m pretty happy with the result and I’m looking forward to playing with the same group tomorrow again – it’s going to be fun.”
