Two Scandinavian players head a star-studded leaderboard going into the final round of the AIG Women’s Open at Carnoustie. Sweden’s Anna Nordqvist and Nanna Koerstz Madsen from Denmark share the lead on nine-under-par after impressive rounds in challenging, wet conditions in Angus.
Sebastian Söderberg equalled the course record at Albatross Golf Resort as he fired an eight-under-par 64 to take the halfway lead at the D+D REAL Czech Masters. The Swede, who will defend his Omega European Masters title next week at Crans-sur-Sierre, made the turn three-under par before play was halted for half an hour due to waterlogging after heavy rain in the Czech capital.
England’s Georgia Hall produced another solid day at the AIG Women’s Open, shooting a round of 69 to share the lead at the halfway stage. The 2018 Women’s Open champion backed up her first round of 68 with another round in the 60s to put her on seven-under-par for the tournament.
Nelly Korda maintained her rich vein of form to share the lead after day one of the AIG Women’s Open at Carnoustie, as amateur Louise Duncan also shone. The AIG Women’s Open has set a new benchmark for prize money in women’s golf with the announcement that the prize fund for this year’s championship will increase by $1.3 million to $5.8 million with the winner earning $870,000.

Thailand’s Pajaree Anannarukarn and USA’s Yealimi Noh both fired an opening round of 65 to lead on six-under-par at The Amundi Evian Championship. Anannarukarn posted a bogey-free opening round with three birdies on the front nine followed by three on the back.
Finland’s Matilda Castren carded a two-under-par round of 69 to lead by one stroke after the second day of the Gant Ladies Open. The 26-year-old opened her round with a bogey on the first hole but made a birdie on the eighth to make the turn in 36. Castren then rolled in back-to-back birdies on 16 and 17 to post a round of 69 and leave her two-under-par for the tournament with one day left.
Sisters Ariya and Moriya Jutanugarn of Thailand raced up the leaderboard at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational after an eleven-under 59 in best-ball play on Thursday. The pair take a two-stroke lead over countrywoman Pajaree Anannarukarn and India's Aditi Ashok into the third round.
Finland’s Ursula Wikstrom fired a round of 66 to lead the Gant Ladies Open by two strokes on the first day at Aura Golf. Wikstrom, who is currently 12th in the 2021 Race to Costa del Sol, carded a round of five-under-par which included seven birdies and two bogeys to lead.
Englishman Jack Senior has the world’s best players at his heels as he takes a one-stroke lead into the second round of the abrdn Scottish Open, the second Rolex Series event on the 2021 Race to Dubai. Senior fired a seven-under-par round of 64 at the Renaissance Club to sit one shot ahead of reigning Race to Dubai champion Lee Westwood and former World Number One Justin Thomas.
