Say hello to your new golf coach, Tiger Woods!

Say hello to your new, personal golf coach, 14-time major winner, Tiger Woods.

Tiger will begin producing weekly golf instructional videos in 2019 as part of a new partnership with Discovery's GOLFTV. The channel will also give golf fans an insight into Tiger's life on the PGA Tour via a live and on-demand video streaming service. Tiger is hoping that the videos will entice a new, younger audience to golf.

"I want to talk to golf fans and golfers everywhere, directly, and straight from me," said Tiger. "That's important to me. Talking about what we care about: what's happening on the course, how to play better, how can I shoot lower scores tomorrow, how can I beat my friends?"

The idea of having Tiger in your living room, on your lap top or phone, giving you advice on how to hone your golfing skills is as welcome as it is surprising, and is further evidence that the once tunnel-visioned and aloof Woods does actually care what people think of him.

"Getting the chance to do instruction is exciting," he said. "I've always been focused on my own game and this experience can help players everywhere. Whether you're a long-time player or a beginner, there are some things that help us all play better. If I can help the next generation enjoy the game more and play better, that's pretty special."

The PGA Tour and pay TV operator Discovery Inc in October announced the creation of GOLFTV, a live and on-demand video streaming service that will give golf fans access to nearly 150 tournaments annually when it launches on Jan. 1.

The partnership with GOLFTV follows Tiger's miraculous comeback in 2018 which culminated with a win at the Tour Championship in September, his first PGA Tour win in five years and his 80th overall.

Nicely done, Tiger.
