Lexi Thompson leads

Lexi Thompson has shot a third–round 67 to take the lead at the Manulife Classic in Canada.
She opened with rounds 67 and 65, and with her third round 67 she finished the day at 17 under. Her bogey free round included five birdies, and was executed even though she has never previously played the course. She holds a one–shot lead over Lindy Duncan, and if she gets over the line she will be the first multi-event winner on tour this year.
Commenting after her round Lexi said:
“Today was a lot windier than the last two days, so there was just more shot–making and some pins were pretty difficult to get to. It was more just making pars and getting off the hole. I'm playing very well and making some good putts, so hopefully that will just continue tomorrow."
Thompson made three birdies on her front nine and picking up further shots at the 16th and 18th.
