West Brom player pays £60k to golf at Augusta

And it's all in a good cause

West Brom midfielder and Scottish international James Morrison has spent a whopping £60,000 on one round of golf at Stiliyan Petrov's Foundation Dinner, but it’s all in a good cause.

The West Bromwich midfielder was raising funds for the former Celtic and Villa star's charity and will now get to play at Augusta National.

Sky Sports presenter and event host Jim White couldn't contain himself at the footballer's generous donation.

He tweeted: "@WBAFCofficial's James Morrison at Petrov Foundation dinner - he shelled out £60k to play Augusta & still smiling!".
