Timberlake loses out to ace in Pebble Beach Pro Am

Nice birdie but needs to do better

Poor old Timbers. He's playing at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro–Am, and was having a practice round at Monterey Peninsula Country Club, when he birdied the 27–yard par–3 seventh hole.

But was that good enough to win the hole? Afraid not, as PGA Tour player Will Mackenzie had an ace.

Justin Rose was part of the fourball, and they played the hole in a total of eight shots. Ace, birdie, birdie, par. Nice work gentlemen.
