Europe lead 5-3 after opening day

After the late drama on Friday when Melissa Reid and Carlota Ciganda came back from two down with three to play, the resumption of the two delayed matces ended in two halves, meaning that Europe take a 5-3 lead into the Saturday morning foursomes. Friday's morning foursomes finished 2-2 and then holders Europe won the two completed afternoon fourballs.

Saturday's morning foursomes start at 08:15 BST before the fourballs in the afternoon. Europe are chasing a third successive Solheim Cup win.
