Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas have putting competitions with Tiger Woods

As it's all back to Tiger's

Tiger Woods has written a long blog post, which confirms that he’s not living in pain anymore and is feeling strong. And that Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas have been coming over to his house for putting competitions!

The blog confirms that there is still no timetable for a return, but that he is now hitting 60-yard shots, which is the longest distance he has practiced since his most recent surgery.

“I have not taken a full swing since my back fusion surgery last April, but continue to chip and putt every day,” he wrote.

And it has been all back to Tiger’s, as he confirms that: “Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler have been dropping by my house for putting contests. Justin also comes over to practice his chipping. It was fun to celebrate his PGA Championship win with him and Rickie, and we had a blast.”

Rickie and Tiger - clearly besties

Woods also confirmed that he will develop a plan for getting back to full fitness, once he gets the results of his six month back X Rays.

“My muscle tone is coming back, but I’m not in golf shape yet. That’s going to take time.”

He’s clearly not putting his feet up though: “I’m working out six days a week, alternating between the treadmill, bike riding, swimming and lifting twice a day.”

Woods will be serving as an assistant captain for next week’s the Presidents Cup at the Liberty National Golf Club in New Jersey.
