Golf Flood Damage

Golf courses closed around the country

The recent storms have taken their toll around the UK since Christmas, and lots of golf courses have been badly affected. Here's some of the courses that have taken the brunt of the bad weather.

First off is The Paul Lawrie Golf Centre, which is to be closed until further notice after high winds and flooding wreaked havoc at the North East’s leading golf centre.

“Regrettably the extreme weather has caused extensive damage to the golf centre, main building and driving range. The priority now is to work as quickly as possible to reopen the centre.

Deeside Golf Club has also been badly hit. Here's what the fourth looks like!

And here's what the 14th looks like.

And it wasn't just Scotland and the North East that got hit. Down in Yeovil, Somerset, there's been bad flooding as well.

We hope that everyone can get back up and running as soon as possible.
