Ghetto Golf to launch in Liverpool

Crazy golf and cocktails in an old brewery

A disused brewery in Liverpool city centre has been turned into the ultimate golf bar and crazy golf experience, and we're loving it.

Ghetto Golf is an 18-hole crazy golf experience with a cocktail bar at its centre, and more bars around the perimeter plus a street food stand selling hotdogs.

“We’ve got funny holes, creepy holes, scary holes and even political holes” said Kip Piper, the local co-founder with Danny Bolger.

“We wanted to create something where you’re not limited by space so when we saw this place, within 20 seconds we knew it was perfect even though it needed a lot of work,” Piper told the Liverpool Echo.

“The whole golf course is like a rollercoaster. But we also wanted to retain some of the brewery’s natural charm, so we kept some of the old silos.”

The course features an old sailing boat and a hippy caravan.

Ghetto Golf will also be pumping out the tunes, with DJ’s in a treehouse booth.
