Ogio Shock Tactics!!!
Ogio's Latest Bag Innovation
Words: Daniel Owen
We love carrying a golf bag. Even though we're constantly told carrying is bad for our backs, and that everyone should use a trolley, you don't feel like a real man if you're not carrying your golf bag. It's generally quicker too, not having to go down out of the way paths, and maneuver around greens. And we support anything that keeps the game quick. So hat's off to Ogio for their Shoxx X4 Suspension straps that take the strain off when carrying.
Ozone £169What does that actually mean though? With a pair of comfy molded XX shoulder pads, the bag is attached to them via an elastomeric suspension system. Think along the lines of the shock absorbers on a bike or a car, it smoothes out the ride, so your back isn't taking any big and unnecessary jolts. The system neutralises any downward pull, producing significantly less strain on your neck and shoulders. Instead of feeling like you're stomping about with a bag of bricks on your back, it feels like you're carrying a sack of marshmallows. We might be exaggerating a little but you get the idea...
