Callaway unveil Rogue Hybrids

With Jailbreak technology

Callaway has revealed the Rogue Hybrids, the world’s first hybrids to feature Jailbreak Technology.

Jailbreak created a shift in ball speed and performance for Callaway’s Epic Driver, the #1 Selling Driver in Golf globally in 2017*, and now Callaway has engineered a way to unlock these very same ball speed benefits with the Rogue Hybrid range.

Rogue is the most powerful hybrid that Callaway has ever created. And it’s the first time ever that engineers have put the revolutionary Jailbreak Technology from drivers in a hybrid.

Combining Jailbreak with Callaway’s proprietary Hyper Speed Face Cup technology gives Rogue Hybrids a step-change in ball speed performance across a larger part of the face, promoting increased distance and improved forgiveness.

Along with their power, they are also super-easy to launch and versatile for the total performance package.

Rogue Hybrids come in three options, Standard, Women’s and an X model, which takes raw distance performance in a Hybrid to a completely new level.

On the new hybrids Dr. Alan HocknellSenior Vice PresidentResearch and Development at Callaway Golf, comments: “The overall result of the ‘Jailbreak Effect’, both in these hybrids and the fairway woods, is pretty impressive. We can generate increased ball speed, at the same time being able to reconfigure how the golf ball flies.

“Remember hybrids launch higher without adding backspin, create a flatter overall flight and therefore convert ball speed into even more distance. It is important to recognise that this overall distance benefit is not all being delivered because of Jailbreak alone. It is the result of Jailbreak, the thinnest Hyper Speed Face Cup we have ever produced, and the positive changes in the ball flight trajectory we have engineered. All three parts of the recipe mix perfectly.”

Rogue Hybrids will be in store from February 9, 2018.
