3. The Killarney Park Hotel

Killarney, Ireland. This hotel, rewarded this year as the “Number One Hotel in Ireland” by Tripadvisor, is perfectly placed to give access to world-class golf courses. You can choose between the Waterville, designed by the American Tom Fazio on a small loop, the Ballybunion, designed in the middle of spectacular dunes by Tom Watson and Robert Trent Jones. The pride of the structure is an elegant Spa, where, among the many proposals, there is even the "Golfers tonic", a ninety-minute session of Swedish massage with ad hoc treatment for feet and ankles.

4. Sandals Ochi Beach Resort

Jamaica. A brand new property with direct access to Sandals Golf & Country Club on the north coast of the island. Here we can find an eighteen hole course with par 71, along which you can order energy drinks. A certified professional is available to the players. The resort offers also a beach club, 11 bars, and 16 restaurants. But for those who want to enjoy a little privacy, the Garden of Eden with its over 100 acres is truly the perfect space.

5. Seaview Hotel and Golf Resort

New Jersey, USA. The 100-year-old elegant Seaview hotel in Galloway offers something unique to its visitors. It promotes a sense of calmness and relaxation even though it’s around 45 minutes away from the never-sleeping Atlantic City. This 4 star hotel has 296 well-appointed rooms and 16 suites. The Montagu is one of the finest 18-hole parkland layouts. This property, with 115 rooms and a separate building of eighteen suites, also houses a Spa. 7. Cuisinart Golf Resort & SPA

Anguilla. This resort, designed by the Australian Greg Norman, will reopen in November 2018 with a complete new facade. The main and unique features of the golf course will however remain unchanged. The golf course of this resort offers an incomparable view of the Caribbean Sea and consists of eighteen holes, with par 72. A peculiarity is the sinuous lake that separates the hole 2 from 10 that makes the game and the surrounding area most interesting.

8. Castiglion del Bosco

Montalcino, Italy. In the golf club of this structure - the only one private in Italy - a few months ago played even Barack Obama, passionate golf sportsman. In the Natural Park of Val d'Orcia, in a property of two thousand hectares, we can find a field with eighteen holes, where the thirteenth, of 620 meters, is among the longest in Europe. It is designed by Tom Weiskopf, champion of the British Open. The nineteenth hole is called Brunello Hole and is traditionally used by members at the end of the game to contend for a glass of the homonymous wine, typical of this region. The resort boasts twenty-three suites and eleven villas with private pools, all set in seventeenth and eighteenth-century farmhouses.

9. Old Course Hotel

St Andrews. Unmissable destination for the most passionate players, this five-star hotel stands next to the Old Course, a field on which the rules of golf were codified. Recently refurbished, the hotel has 144 rooms and suites, a Spa and several restaurants. Among these, the quaint Jigger Inn stands out, a pub decorated with memorabilia of illustrious champions.

10. Paradis Golf Club Le Morne

Mauritius. Last but not least, an Eden in the Indian Ocean for golfers. Designed by David Dutton, this green stands at the foot of the Le Morne mountain. Its path, which reaches the shore, is located inside the Paradis Hotel & Golf Club and is shared with the Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa, both part of  Beachcomber. The Golf Academy has an exclusive video system through which films players in action, evaluate their swing in order to create a personalized training program.
