Irish eyes were smiling on a thrilling final day of action at the Bridgestone International, and after several twists and turns a surprising winner came out on top. With over night leaders Jim Furyk and Justin Rose struggling to final round 72’s, it was left to Ireland's Shane Lowry to pick up the victory, with a final round of 66 at Firestone Country Club South.

World number one Brooks Koepka and Justin Rose sit one further back but there are tough weather conditions forecast for the final day.
