At last, a European Tour event in England!! And a really, really, good line up: The British Masters is hosted by Ryder Cup legend Ian Poulter and will see a star studded field take to the Woburn course on 8th October.
GB& Ireland's young guns got off to another great start in the Sunday morning foursomes, when they won three of their four matches to book a 10-6 lead before the crucial 10 single matches. Only one of the foursomes matches went to the USA, with the pairing of Beau Hossler and Denny McCarthy beating Paul Dunne and Gary Hurley.
Home favourite Victor Dubuisson, Austrian Bernd Wiesberger, and South African Jaco Van Zyl all shared the clubhouse lead after the opening day of the Alstom Open de France at Le Golf National.
