Garrick Higgo wins Palmetto Championship

Garrick Higgo was the beneficiary of a sad collapse by Chesson Hadley to win the Palmetto Championship at Congaree by one stroke and claim his maiden PGA Tour title at just his second outing. The 22-year-old Higgo finished at eleven-under 273 at Congaree Golf Club, Ridgeland, South Carolina, to win by a single shot from a group of six players on ten-under.

Patrick Cantlay won the Memorial Tournament for the second time in three years after beating fellow American Collin Morikawa at the first hole of a playoff.
