Top 3 Shots of last week

Including the luckiest shot of the year!

There was plenty of excitement at the last week’s events and plenty of great play. Here is GolfPunk’s pick of the best shots and we use the word ‘best’ in a rather loose way for one of them!

3. Viktor Hovland

The young man from Norway shows no fear as he fires in a 25 foot birdie putt to take his first professional title at the Puerto Rico Open.  God knows how long the putt back would have been given the speed the ball hit the back of the cup!

2. Jon Rahm

He would end up tied for third for the event but at the par 17th at the WGC- Mexico on Saturday Jon Rahm found the perfect shot. A tad lucky to bounce and jump in the to the cup maybe but we are just being picky!

1. Sung -Jae Im

And the luckiest shot of the year, or maybe the decade, goes to young Sung-Jae In who managed to find something solid in the water to propel his ball out on to the green. You lucky, lucky er, boy!

And another thing...

Patrick Reed swerves the issue.
