Tiger completes “intensive programme”

To manage his medication

Tiger Woods has completed an "intensive" programme, which was designed to help him manage his medication.

Tiger released the following brief statement on Twitter: "I recently completed an out of state private intensive program," he said.

"I will continue to tackle this going forward with my doctors, family and friends.

"I am so very thankful for all the support I've received."

Tiger was arrested for DUI in May, and announced in June that he was getting professional help to manage his medication for pain and sleep loss, as he recovers from his fourth back surgery since April 2014.

He is due to appear in court in Palm Beach, Florida, on 9th August.
