Rory McIlroy is just two shots back following a blistering 67 (-5) in the third round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Florida.

His Ryder Cup teammate Henrik Stenson remains in the lead at -12, with the Golf Scientist Bryson DeChambeau at -11.

McIlroy made eagle at 12 and made four birdies, the highlight being a tap-in after a quite brilliant approach to the 18th. Rory is looking for his first victory since September 2016.

Justin Rose matched Rory's 67 and is sitting pretty at -9 going into the final round. Rose made six birdies on the way to completing his best round of the competition so far.

Guess who's back? Rory's brilliant approach to 18...

But what about Tiger? Well, he's not out of it although he needs to go low on Sunday and hope the field help him out.  Tiger shot a three-under-par 69, featuring six birdies and three bogeys to finish on -7.

Tiger has won eight times at Bay Hill but has not won any PGA Tour event since 2013, having had four back operations in three years.

"I figure I'm within reach if I shoot a really, really low round tomorrow," Tiger said. "I'm going to have to shoot a low one and get a little bit of help. But my responsibility is to go out and shoot a low one first."
