Tiger Woods makes an eagle at Memorial

Tiger Woods was looking for a bounce back after a 72 on Thursday, and he cannot have been too disappointed with a second round of 67, which included an eagle from 95 yards at the par-five 11th, which moved him to five-under.

90 minute weather delay broke his momentum, as he made three successive pars when played resumed. He had a fifth birdie of the day on the 15th, but gave one back on the 17th to post a 67, and finish T24.

"I did not putt well today," Woods told reporters. "It could have easily been a nice like 62 or 63 and I turned it into a 67…

"I missed a lot of short putts which is something I don’t normally do, which is just frustrating.”

Woods is still positive about his chances at the weekend.

"If I hit the ball like this on the weekend then I have a great chance of winning this tournament,” said Woods. He will have his work cut of for him, as he is six shots back from leader Kyle Stanley.

Here's his eagle.
