The Tiger Woods' effect on Masters ticket prices

They are sky rocketing

Tiger Woods’ comeback is hitting Masters ticket prices, and you will now have to pay a very pretty penny if you want to see the four-time Masters winner teeing it up at Augusta National.

“Tiger has always had an effect on prices,” TickPick.com sales agent Kyle Zorn told the Augusta Chronicle.

Zorn confirmed that secondary-ticket prices of Thursday's badge are 77 percent higher than last year's, selling for $3,653.

As of Wednesday, the four-day tournament badges available on StubHub are listed for at least $9,450.

And it Tiger is still in contention for the Sunday, then the price of that day’s badge will “go through the roof” the ticket sales agent confirmed.

There’s just no denying that Tiger turns the dial, we are expecting stellar TV viewing figures for what has to be the most eagerly anticipated Masters in many, many years.
