Putting maestro Dave's new artificial green

Stamped with Augusta National logo

Putting maestro Dave Stockton has been hard at work with his son Dave Stockton Junior. And what have they been up to? Well, building a lovely artificial putting green emblazoned with the Augusta National logo.

The new putting green was actually built by Back Nine Greens, who have partnered with the Stockton duo to offer a customized design service for both residential and commercial greens, so if you are in the market for a new surface these guys would be the go–to people.

We still don’t get the whole Junior bit here at GolfPunk Towers. What is it with Americans naming their children after themselves? Do they want a complete chip off the old block, or in this case a putt?
