Poulter in new Twitter tirade

When car salesman calls him a 'd--k'

Poulter was 15 holes into his second round at the Hong Kong Open on Friday when he had a pop at a cameraman for distracting him around the green. He carded a quadruple-bogey on the hole.

“When I’m ready to play my shot,” he can be seen saying to directly to the camera, “don’t be running in behind me.”

Poults took some Twitter flak for this, but his gander was well and truly up when he saw a post from car salesman Glenn Stacey.

“This guy is a true d–k,” Stacey Twitted. “On and off the course. I had a problem with his arrogance a few years ago.”

Poulter was having none of this, and was back at him in a flash.

That wasn't the end of it though, as others weighed into the conversation.

But Poults was have none of it:

Whilst the flames had been well and truly fanned by now, Poults did try and clam things down finally that he wasn't trying to get the car salesman fired.

We have some sympathy for Poults on this one. Call him a 'd---k' and you are bound to take some fire.

Right let's all move on.
