Phil Mickelson Commits

To play in the Waste Management Phoenix Open

Phil Mickelson is the latest addition to a star-studded field that will compete for the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

The Waste Management Phoenix Open will take place at TPC Scottsdale and will run from February 4-7.

Mickelson confirmed that he would take part in the event on Tuesday.

The 42-time winner on the PGA Tour will join the likes of Bubba Watson, Ricky Fowler and Hunter Mahan at TPC Scottsdale.

The left-handed player has won the tournament on three separate occasions. It will be 27th time he has played in the Phoenix Open.

The winner of the prestigious event will claim $1,170,000 as well as 500 FedExCup points.
