Justin Rose takes clubhouse lead at Fort Worth Invitational

With a fine 64

We may be missing Justin Rose at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, and we know Justin really wanted to be there, but he's not letting any home sickmess get in his way, as he's the clubhouse leader at the Fort Worth Invitational.

Justin Rose now leads by a single shot, with rounds of 66-64 at 10 under for the event, and has 12 biridies so far, with just two bogeys.

"Yeah, I did a lot of good things today," Rose said. "I think, you know, the end of my round got a little scrappy, but until the last three holes it was pretty flawless. I think I hit every fairway pretty much and obviously every green to that point. ...

"Yeah, the way I played through, I guess through my first 15 holes today, was about as good as I've played in a long time."

With just three weeks to go to the US Open, Justin seems to be finding his game at the right time. We may be missing him at Wentworth, but if playing at the Fort Worth Invitational fully preps him for another shot at the US Open, after his 2013 win at Merion, then we will be more than happy.
