Jason Day leads in Australia

As the world no 12 tries to get properly back on it

Jason Day takes a one shot lead into the final round of the Emirates Australian Open on Sunday, as the now world number 12 looks to get properly back on it. 

Day shot a two under 69 in windy conditions in Sydney, but it moved him to ten under for the tournament, and he is now one shot ahead of fellow Australian Lucas Herbert.

Day shot par for every hole on his front nine, and then added another four in a row, until he came to the 14th and 15th, when he finally managed to get into birdie mode.

After another par on the 16th, he stumbled with what was to be his only bogey of the day, before coming straight back with a final birdie on 18 to come back in 34.

He had been trailing behind Lucas Herbert, until the leader double bogeyed the 11th to let Day edge ahead.
